‘Pacman’ still looking for bites from NFL teams

We’ve moved into the post-draft phase of the NFL offseason, which is when a sizable number of veterans remain on the street as teams re-evaluate their rosters.
Adam Jones (some still call him “Pacman”), who hasn’t played in the league since 2008, is one of the most recognizable names on that list.
As we’ve reported throughout the offseason – since his private workout for teams last month – the Bengals, Lions and 49ers are teams that have expressed interest in Jones. NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora told NFL Total Access Monday that a signing isn’t imminent and described the Lions’ interest as “lukewarm at best.”
One potentially interested team floated by La Canfora: Green Bay. Keep an eye out for that.
At some point, chances are that we’ll be posting a blog that a team has taken a chance on Jones, but it doesn’t look as though it will happen soon.
