Dwyer could be Mendenhall’s handcuff

The Steelers landed a steal in the sixth round, grabbing Jonathan Dwyer with the 188th overall selection.
A talented running back out of Georgia Tech, Dwyer is a playmaker with upside but needs to improve on his overall game to make an impact at the pro level. While he’ll have no chance to unseat Rashard Mendenhall atop the depth chart, he could turn into his handcuff.
The battle between Dwyer and Mewelde Moore will be one to watch during training camp.
