Clausen won’t have seasonal value in 2010

The Panthers filled their need for a quarterback with Jimmy Clausen, who fell into the second round and could be an absolute steal for the franchise.
Widely considered the most NFL-ready signal-caller in the 2010 class, Clausen should be allowed a chance to compete with Matt Moore for the top spot on the depth chart. I still think Moore, one of my favorite super sleepers, will open the season under center.
Remember, coach John Fox is on the hot seat and might not want to put his fate in the hands of a rookie. At worst, Clausen will be worth a look in dynasty leagues. If he earns the starting role, he’ll be no more than a No. 3 fantasy quarterback in larger fantasy leagues.
