Wilson, Demaryius Thomas on the rise as draft nears

In the past 24 hours, I have heard more and more about Boise State’s Kyle Wilson being the first cornerback taken, as high as seventh overall by the Browns.
Wilson is definitely in play there, and while Florida’s Joe Haden was long considered the top cornerback in this class, that doesn’t ensure he will be the first to go off the board. The Browns are very high on Tennessee’s Eric Berry as well, but taking a safety that high is tough for some teams to stomach. And if it’s a corner, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Wilson is the pick.
Likewise, Oklahoma State’s Dez Bryant has been seen as the consensus first receiver off the board. I don’t anticipate Bryant falling far, but don’t be surprised if Georgia Tech’s Demaryius Thomas goes before him.
Thomas was still limited at his workout, but he flashed enough to catch the attention of teams in the top half of the first round.
