Good news for Niners’ Smith, Gore in draft

It’s been a good night for the fantasy value of both Alex Smith and Frank Gore.

The 49ers bolstered their offensive line by adding OT Anthony Davis and G Mike Iupati instead of selecting QB Jimmy Clausen or trading up for RB C.J. Spiller in the first round.

The 49ers will have one of the best offensive lines in the entire league if Davis and Iupati make good on their immense talent.

I have Smith ranked 18th at quarterback, but he could be a very solid reserve option and matchup-based starter for owners. Gore slots in at No. 6 among running backs and is a surefire first-round pick.
