Rift between Haynesworth, Redskins not going away

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora punctuated his segment about Albert Haynesworth and the Redskins on Monday by saying the growing rift between the defensive tackle and the team will not go away.
Haynesworth has been upset with the Redskins since, according to La Canfora, coach Mike Shanahan told the lineman that he wanted him to clog space in the middle and that if he got more than two sacks in a season, something was wrong.
La Canfora reported that Haynesworth hasn’t openly demanded a trade, but he certainly would welcome one. And despite general manager Bruce Allen‘s denial, it looks as if the Redskins would like to accommodate him — for a second- or a third-round pick. The Redskins don’t have a second- or a third-round selection in this year’s draft, and La Canfora said the team views trading Haynesworth as the most viable option for acquiring more picks.
