Baldinger mock: Clausen slides out of top 10

Playbook analyst Brian Baldinger has been in-house at NFL Network studios in Los Angeles this entire week, but waited until Friday to unveil his top-10 mock draft on Path to the Draft. Now we have it.
Baldinger’s top-10 doesn’t contain any monumental surprises, but is notable for who it doesn’t include: QB Jimmy Clausen.
“I think he’s on a slide down,” Baldinger said. “I know he played at a big-time program and is the most pro-ready quarterback from Charlie Weis’ system. I just think when the time came to make big plays, he wasn’t able to do it. I have questions about his leadership. … I think teams will look at that [very closely] going forward.”
Charley Casserly agrees, saying it’s conceivable Clausen slides all the way to No. 30 in the first round.
