Clemson’s C.J. Spiller, who NFL Network’s Mike Mayock has ranked as the draft’s best running back prospect, has reached a multi-year agreement to partner with Adidas.
As part of his role with Adidas, Spiller will be featured in marketing efforts and is expected to play a role in the development of Adidas football training apparel and footwear.
Spiller joins NFL stars Reggie Bush, Mario Williams and Lawrence Timmons on the Adidas team.
In a statement released by Adidas, Spiller said, “I’m excited to be with adidas because they are committed to making the lightest gear that will make me even faster.”
“With adidas I have a great opportunity to take my game to the next level and make my mark in the NFL next season.”
The latest mock draft from NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks has Spiller slated to potentially land in Seattle.
