OK, NFL Nation, back to Tebow Watch.
The momentum has been mounting, the speculation increasing, that Tim Tebow has moved up in the draft to the status of an early second- or late first-round pick. That chatter hasn’t slowed. In fact, it seems to be gaining traction.
In a look at the market for Tebow last week, analyst Pat Kirwan noted Tebow’s stock was on the rise as he handicapped some potential landing spots. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, for one, is on board.
And with less than three weeks until the draft, another informed insider, Michael Lombardi, reiterated Tuesday the Bills have “strong interest” and Philadelphia could be in the mix now as well.
“I think Tim Tebow will be a first-rounder before this is over,” Lombardi said on Path to the Draft.
I got a sneak peek at Charles Davis’ Mock Draft 2.0 due out on NFL.com Wednesday, and I’ll reveal that he also has Tebow going in the first round.
