Vick doesn’t expect role to change behind Kolb

This piece of video just landed at NFL Network, and although he doesn’t say much, it’s worth checking in with Michael Vick for his thoughts on moving up the depth chart following the Eagles’ trade of Donovan McNabb.
Presumably, now the No. 2 in Philly, Vick says he doesn’t expect much to change. But, really, like Morgan O’Mally at the end of Good Will Hunting, he’s moved up from the backseat of the car to shotgun next to Kevin Kolb.
“I think my role will still be the same, to come in and provide whenever I’m needed,” Vick told reporters Monday. “To come in and make plays and just try to do things to keep the offense on course. Whatever I’m asked to do, that’s what I’ll be available to do.”
The Eagles did pick up the $1.5 million roster bonus on Vick in March, and he — like Kolb — is entering the final year of his contract.
