Redskins CB Hall to McNabb: Don’t go to Oakland

Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall had a tumultuous eight-game stay in Oakland in 2009. And now he’s acting like a counselor in a “Scared Straight” video, warning others to stay away from the Raiders.

Hall told Washington Post reporter Rick Maese to deliver a message to Eagles QB Donovan McNabb: Stay out of Oakland. (Via Maese’s Twitter page.)

“He doesnt want to go to Oakland, tell him that,” Hall said. “If you have any say-so in the matter, tell him I said that.”

The Eagles are reportedly open to dealing McNabb, and Oakland is one of the top destinations. However, there were reports from unnamed sources Wednesday that McNabb doesn’t want to be traded to the Raiders.

In other words, message received.
