Reports: Bryant visits Cowboys; Bengals, Bucs next

A quick look at some of the pre-draft visits scheduled between prospects and teams around the league:

  • Dez Bryant was one of 10 prospects hosted by the Cowboys this week, according to the team’s official Web site. The list also included Penn State DE Jared Odrick and Florida G/C Maurkice¬†Pouncey. The Cowboys hold the No. 27 overall pick. The Cowboys also posted a Q & A with Bryant.
  • The Fort-Worth Star Telegram also reports Bryant has visits scheduled with the Bengals and Buccaneers.
  • The Steelers hosted 13 players on visits this week, a group that included three cornerbacks, three offensive linemen and three linebackers. Boise State CB Kyle Wilson, who Bucky Brooks, Charles Davis and Pat Kirwan all have the Steelers selecting in their mock drafts, was among the prospects.
  • Texas safety Earl Thomas has visits scheduled with the Bengals and Browns, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The Bengals will also host BYU TE Dennis Pita, who is No. 4 at his position on Mike Mayock’s rankings.
  • The Redskins will host QB Colt McCoy, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The Redskins will host Jimmy Clausen for a two-day visit beginning Friday, and will watch a workout by Sam Bradford on April 15, according to The Washington Post. According to NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora, the Redskins also have a meeting scheduled with Tim Tebow.
  • The Chargers hosted RB Toby Gerhart on Thursday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The Chargers hold the No. 28 pick in the first round.
