Rodger Saffold (6-foot-4 5/8, 313 pounds) chose to participate solely in positional drills at Indiana’s pro day on Friday. That decision is in no way surprising given the outstanding job Saffold did at the NFL Scouting Combine.

DB Chris Maragos (5-foot-10 1/2, 200 pounds) performed so well that he may just find himself getting drafted in the late rounds come April.

West Texas A&M had to hold its pro day about 40 miles from its Canyon campus on Thursday, moving it to Amarillo to use an indoor arena. There were 14 teams on hand, including 49ers offensive line coach Mike Solari and Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.
