Penn State’s pro day speaks for itself. A number of highly touted prospects worked out, and most of them posted outstanding numbers. The event was held indoors on FieldTurf in front of 25 team representatives. Both of the 40-yard dashes were run in the same direction, and some eye-opening times were recorded.

Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen won’t be working out for teams until April 9, but that doesn’t mean the signal-caller won’t be on hand on Tuesday for the Irish pro day.

Twenty five team representatives, including defensive back coaches from the Rams and Panthers, were in attendance at Vanderbilt’s pro day on March 19. What they witnessed was a good display of quickness by cornerback prospect Myron Lewis.

One of the year’s most amazing workouts came from Pittsburgh TE Dorin Dickerson — at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was a top performer for his position in just about every category (40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and short shuttle. With numbers like that, it should be no surprise that he stood on his combine numbers. He did re-run the short shuttle at Pittsburgh’s pro day and improved on his combine time of 4.30 seconds to 4.23 at the pro day.
