Celek, McCoy diplomatic on McNabb trade rumors

Eagles FB Leonard Weaver made his feelings known Monday when he told SIRIUS NFL Radio that he wants QB Donovan McNabb back in Philadelphia.

Two other members of the Eagles — TE Brent Celek and RB LeSean McCoy — also were put in the unenviable position of commenting on the McNabb trade rumors Tuesday, and they tried to remain diplomatic.

“He’s [McNabb] a teammate of mine, and you never want to lose a teammate,” Celek told Fox 29 in Philadelphia, according to Philly.com. “It’s been a lot of fun playing with him. I’d like to keep that going. Right now, they’re just rumors, and until something happens, we’re still teammates.”

McCoy also toed the line.

“The thing is we have three awesome QBs, so whatever happens, happens,” McCoy said. “But I support the decisions that those guys make.”
