Clausen to cheer on his teammates at Irish pro day

Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen won’t be working out for teams until April 9, but that doesn’t mean the signal-caller won’t be on hand on Tuesday for the Irish pro day.

He flew back to South Bend, Ind., to root on his former teammates. Such a gesture is commendable and shows his commitment to his fellow Notre Dame prospects trying to make their NFL dreams come true.

Irish WR Golden Tate, who himself is a top receiver prospect, will be on hand to catch passes from Clausen when Clausen does his workout on April 9.

It’s highly probable Clausen will be one of the first five players selected in the draft.
