Wayne State (Mich.) RB Bell makes strong NFL push

Wayne State (Mich.) running back Joique Bell is doing everything he can to dispel any negative notion there might be about his NFL potential.
Bell might be one of the top small school prospects, but he knows that isn’t any sort of guarantee of being taken in the NFL draft. And so on top of working out at the NFL Scouting Combine and on top of performing at his pro day on March 15, Bell will be back at it again March 24 for another workout at Central Michigan’s pro day.
For now, though, he’ll have to stand on the combine and his pro day, which took place at Grand Valley State’s indoor facility in front of 17 teams.
Bell (5-foot-11, 217 pounds), ran 4.72 and 4.68 seconds in the 40-yard dash and did 16 bench press repetitions. He did position drills and stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. Bell had a personal workout with the Indianapolis Colts.
