In the spirit of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, our friends at NFL Total Access will unveil an NFL free-agency bracket of their own on Monday’s show. This bracket will break down the eight best acquisitions of the offseason to date (considering both trades and free-agent signings).
Host Fran Charles and analysts Jamie Dukes and Rod Woodson hashed out the field and agreed upon the top eight seedings to set the bracket.
The mini-tournament will work this way: The top eight will be debated on Monday’s show to break down to a final four. The final four will be debated Tuesday to declare a champion.
Here’s a look at the seedings:
(1) Julius Peppers, Bears
(8) LaDainian Tomlinson, Jets
(3) Karlos Dansby, Dolphins
(6) Thomas Jones, Chiefs
(4) Antrel Rolle, Giants
(5) Antonio Cromartie, Jets
(2) Anquan Boldin, Ravens
(7) Chester Taylor, Bears
