Foote signs three-year deal with Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed LB Larry Foote on Monday to three-year, $9.3 million deal, with a $1.8 million signing bonus, according to an NFL source.

Foote provides depth at linebacker in the the Steelers’ 3-4 scheme. Foote returns to the team that drafted him in the fourth round in 2002 after spending last season with Detroit. He was also gaining interest from the Washington Redskins and Arizona Cardinals.
