Update: It looked like LaDainian Tomlinson may have made up his mind on a destination earlier Sunday, but the wait continues. Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune exchanged emails with the veteran, who said he hasn’t officially decided on where he will sign as a free agent.

Tomlinson visited the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets this week. The San Diego Union-Tribune had reported Sunday that signs pointed toward Tomlinson becoming a Jet, citing three people with knowledge of the process. One source called it a “done deal.”

While Tomlinson was expected to announce his decision Sunday or Monday, it is not yet a done deal.

As Tomlinson mulls his opportunities with the Vikings and Jets, NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported Saturday that the veteran could make another visit to a third, unidentified team next week.
