Western Michigan QB Tim Hiller (6-foot-4 1/4, 225) went back to his roots at the school’s pro day on March 9. He reached out to former teammates Schneider Julien and Jamarko Simmons, who returned to catch passes during Hiller’s workout.
Hiller chose to keep his workout numbers from the combine, and conducted passing drills with Julien and Simmons in front of nine team representatives.
The other noteworthy prospect on hand was RB Brandon West (5-9 3/4, 189). West ran the 40-yard dash in 4.67 and 4.69 seconds, had a 35 1/2-inch vertical jump, 9-foot, 10-inch broad jump, 4.28-second short shuttle and a 6.98-second three-cone drill.
