Redskins sign former Panthers NT Kemoeatu

The Redskins have signed free-agent NT Maake Kemoeatu, the team announced Wednesday. Terms of the deals weren’t disclosed.

Kemoeatu, who was released by the Panthers last week, has played in 107 games with 61 starts in an eight-year career with the Ravens (2002-05) and Panthers (2006-09). He sat out all of the 2009 season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon during training camp.
