Ravens still interested in bringing back Mason

There’s still a “very good” chance that veteran WR Derrick Mason will re-sign with the Ravens, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

The Ravens have signed Donte Stallworth and traded for Anquan Boldin to address their receiver needs this offseason, but they remain very interested in retaining Mason and are in close contact with his representatives, according to league sources.

Mason has been Baltimore’s top receiver since joining the team in 2005 and is a favorite target of young QB Joe Flacco. The Ravens are Mason’s most likely destination at this point, and the team remains confident that it can work to keep him in Baltimore.
