Broncos add Williams, Green in D-line overhaul

Veteran DT Jamal Williams will join the Broncos, who continue to beef up their defensive line through free agency, NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reported Tuesday.

Williams, who was released by the Chargers last week after 12 seasons, also had been scheduled to meet with the Saints on Tuesday, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Williams made three Pro Bowls during his time in San Diego.

Earlier in the day, the Broncos signed DE Jarvis Green, who played for current Denver coach Josh McDaniels in New England.
