Chiefs re-sign WR Chambers to three-year deal

The Chiefs announced the re-signing of unrestricted free-agent WR Chris Chambers on Monday, with NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi reporting that the three-year deal is valued at $12 million, with nearly $6 million guaranteed.

The deal is Kansas City’s biggest splash to date in free agency, as keeping Chambers was one of the team’s main priorities. Chambers joined the Chiefs in November after they claimed him off waivers following his release from the Chargers.

In nine games with Kansas City, Chambers had 36 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns.
