Robbins will visit Rams; sides progressing on deal

Veteran DT Fred Robbins is on his way to St. Louis for a visit, according to a league source, and is scheduled to stay there into Monday.

Robbins, a former Giant who’s an unrestricted free agent, has been deep in talks with the Rams, and the sides have made good progress on a deal.
