Report: Kampman not ready to visit with Eagles

Aaron Kampman‘s agent, Neil Cornrich, wants to make sure any team pursuing his client is ready to make a significant offer before the free-agent linebacker travels anywhere for a face-to-face visit.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Saturday that Cornich nixed a potential visit with the Eagles for just that reason:
- The Eagles, according to an NFL source, did want Kampman to come in on Friday, but Cornrich wouldn’t allow it to happen, possibly because the Eagles weren’t willing to commit to any kind of financial offer.
According to the Journal-Sentinel, the Jaguars are the only team showing any serious interest in Kampman, who reportedly arrived in Jacksonville on Friday night.
The Seahawks also have shown interest but, like the Eagles, don’t yet appear willing to make enough of a financial offer to get Kampman and his agent on a plane.
