Carr, Niners don’t have deal but still talking

Free-agent QB David Carr left San Francisco after an extended visit without a contract, according to a league source, but the sides will continue to talk.

Carr, who has spent the last two seasons as the Giants’ backup, is drawing interest from several teams.
