Report: TE Manumaleuna agrees to terms with Bears

While the biggest name of the 2010 free-agency signing period, Julius Peppers, is scheduled to visit with the Bears later Friday, the team reportedly has locked up Brandon Manumaleuna.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the veteran blocking tight end, who has played for the Chargers the last four seasons, agreed to terms with the Bears.
Manumaleuna reportedly will sign a five-year contract with the Bears later Friday, pending a physical. Manumaleuna began his career in St. Louis (2001-2005), playing for Mike Martz, who is now the Bears’ offensive coordinator.
Update: Manumaleuna confirmed the deal on a Chicago radio station Friday morning.
