In the hunt for Rolle

When Antrel Rolle was released by the Cardinals on Thursday, he became one of the biggest names on the free-agent market.
What are the possible landing spots for Rolle? According to an earlier report from NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, the Bears, Cardinals, Dolphins and Giants are the teams in the hunt for Rolle. Notice that list includes the Cardinals, who would like to re-sign Rolle but might be pushed out of the market by the $8 million per season that he covets. Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic says the Cardinals are confident that Rolle likes Arizona, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he will remain in contact with the team.
So that door appears to be open.
La Canfora also has reported that Rolle is meeting with the Giants on Friday. The Giants, with a need at safety, make a logical suitor. Star-Ledger beat writer Mike Garafalo tweeted Friday that the Giants really want Rolle, after he had suggested they’re in the driver’s seat.
The Bears came on strong at the outset, negotiating a deal with Rolle on Thursday night, per the Chicago Tribune. And the Dolphins certainly made their intentions at safety clear by releasing veteran Gibril Wilson today.
