The Bears have agreed to terms with DE Julius Peppers, NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reports.
Peppers will receive a six-year contract worth $13.3 million annually. He’s guaranteed to receive $40 million in the first three years, according to Lombardi.
Earlier Friday, the Bears reached a four-year, $12.5 million agreement with RB Chester Taylor, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. The deal includes $7 million guaranteed.
The Bears have scheduled a 6 p.m. ET news conference, presumably to announce the moves.
