Wyche: Robinson likely headed to Atlanta

As a full-time starter in his prime, Dunta Robinson is considered the top cornerback on the free-agent market. As such, he might not be available long.

NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche said on NFL Total Access on Thursday that “all indications from people I’ve spoken to is that he will end up with the Atlanta Falcons.”

It makes sense — the Falcons are thin at cornerback, where they’ve already brought back veteran Brian Williams, who was signed off the street last season and became the starter before a season-ending knee injury.

“Apparently, a lot of people in that front office have been high on Dunta Robinson for years, hoping he would be free,” Wyche said.
