Washington Redskins offensive tackle Chris Samuels is walking away after a 10-year career. The team announced a retirement press conference is scheduled for noon ET on Thursday.
Samuels has been debating whether or not to retire since being put on injured reserve with a serious neck problem. He appeared in a career-low five games this past season due to the injury.
The former first-round pick played in 141 games for the Redskins and went to six Pro Bowls.
