Healthy Gresham wants to be a legend

INDIANAPOLIS — Oklahoma TE Jermaine Gresham missed his entire senior season because of a knee injury, but he told the media Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine that the ailment is completely healed.

“I’ve been totally cleared by the doctors,” Gresham said.

Gresham added that an old high school knee injury also checked out and that he will be doing a full workout and expects no issues whatsoever with his knee. He added that it was a freak injury that occurred during a non-contact running drill, in which he wasn’t even wearing a helmet.

Given his clean bill of health, Gresham felt free to make some bolder proclamations about his future.

“I want to be known for everything and somebody that someone might come to you and talk about as being one of the all-time legends,” he said.
