Saints not contemplating releasing Bush

While there has been speculation that the Saints will part ways with RB Reggie Bush this offseason because of a 2010 base salary of about $8 million, NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reports New Orleans is not contemplating releasing the versatile threat.

Bush gained 390 yards rushing and 335 yards receiving to go with an average of 4.8 yards per return this season. He helped to key the Saints’ Super Bowl run, scoring three times in the postseason.
