QBs, backs, receivers ready to chat Friday
Published: February 25th, 2010 | Tags: 2010 NFL Scouting Combine
The NFL Scouting Combine just wrapped up its first day, but the action will really pick up Friday. Quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers are scheduled to meet with the media, and I can’t even begin to imagine the swarm of tape recorders that will surround Tim Tebow when he hits the podium.
Also on the docket in the media center are 14 NFL coaches, executives or insiders, who will give their insights into the prospects. Here’s the schedule (all times Eastern):
10 a.m.: Bears coach Lovie Smith
10:15 a.m.: Rams GM Billy Devaney
10:30 a.m.: Packers GM Ted Thompson
10:45 a.m.: Redskins coach Mike Shanahan
11 a.m.: Bengals coach Marvin Lewis
11:15 a.m.: Vikings coach Brad Childress
11:30 a.m.: Falcons coach Mike Smith
Noon: Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum
12:15 p.m.: Giants coach Tom Coughlin
12:45 p.m.: Texans GM Rick Smith
1 p.m.: NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly
3 p.m.: Packers coach Mike McCarthy
3:30 p.m.: Browns president Mike Holmgren
4 p.m.: Titans coach Jeff Fisher
Sounds like a full day of football. As always, come back to NFL.com for the latest combine news, views and videos.
