Texas QB McCoy won’t throw at combine, either

Texas QB Colt McCoy will not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora on Wednesday.
McCoy is not yet “110 percent” recovered from his shoulder injury, and thus is another QB who will not participate in drills at the combine. McCoy is shooting to throw at his pro day.
Already, Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen opted not to throw at the combine, instead waiting for their pro days. That is also the case for Florida star Tim Tebow — who is tweaking his throwing motion — and Central Michigan’s Dan LeFevour, which leaves Cincinnati’s Tony Pike as the only top QB prospect to throw at the combine.
