Missouri WR Danario Alexander will not participate in the NFL Scouting Combine next week in Indianapolis after he had surgery on his injured left knee, NFL.com’s Gil Brandt confirmed Thursday.
Alexander, who injured the knee during last month’s Senior Bowl, also will miss Missouri’s Pro Day on March 4.
Other tidbits from Brandt about the combine:
- Nebraska OT Jacob Hickman has decided to pursue a career outside of football and will not be in Indianapolis.
- Utah RB Matthew Asiata and Stanford OT Matt Kopa have petitioned the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility, so they will pay their own way to the combine if they don’t hear a ruling by next week.
