Dhani tackles South Beach

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Bengals teammates Dhani Jones and Keith Rivers were cool enough to let us tag along with them as they hit the South Beach scene on Wednesday. First stop was the Paparazzi Pool party at the Fontainebleau Hotel, hosted by Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco.

Hey, it wouldn’t be a proper Super Bowl week if we didn’t give you a taste of the action coming out of Miami, right?

The full video of Dhani and Keith’s day, including their visit to Steve Sabol‘s art show, will be posted tomorrow. For now, check out the quick preview above.

Among the other players who came out to T.O. and Ochocinco’s event were Bears TE Greg Olsen, Steelers WRs Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes, Bengals DT Tank Johnson, Eagles G Max Jean-Giles, Cardinals DE Darnell Dockett and Ravens RB Willis McGahee.

Basically, if you were a professional football player and in Miami, you were at the Fontainebleau Wednesday — and you were definitely in the right place, too. With DJ Irie and Ludacris providing the music, and plenty of other entertainment…well, it was a hard afternoon of “work” for this guy.

T.O. was his usual gregarious self, hamming it up for the cameras and playing host.

“This is a great way to kick off the weekend,” he said. “No place like Miami…and the weather here beats Buffalo.”

The weather isn’t much better in Cincinnati, but that didn’t stop Ochocinco, who sat down with Deion Sanders yesterday, from making a case for T.O. to come join him there — even offering to take a pay cut to make it happen.

Until then, they’ll just be living it up in South Beach.
