Miss America stops traffic

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Nothing stops traffic on Radio Row at the Super Bowl like a Miss America.
In this case, it was Caressa Cameron, who literally stopped traffic behind our table as a crowd gathered with digital cameras to take a picture of her. If you’re wondering why there’s no picture of her in this post, it’s because diligent NFL.com photographer Ben Liebenberg thought the commotion was over pizza. I’m not even kidding. You don’t have to know him to find that funny. But hopefully Cameron will swing through again.
Among the other notables floating around the room were Brandon Marshall, Shaun Alexander, Jim Kelly, Troy Aikman, Tony Dorsett, Archie Manning and Vontae Davis.
NFL Network’s Warren Sapp is walking around with a hand-held, battery-powered fan to cool down, which completely amuses me. Love the big fella.
I’m headed upstairs to the news conferences for the Super Bowl pregame and halftime shows. Let’s see what comes out of that.
