Unwinding poolside (with a Cuban?) in South Florida

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Many of the Pro Bowlers are throughout South Florida this afternoon, serving the community for the NFL Play 60 Community Blitz. But for those guys who aren’t, it’s time to unwind in the warm sunshine.
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips and tight end Jason Witten were hanging by the pool with their families. I’ve gotta say, seeing Wade in shorts and flip-flops is a bit weird for me — but in a good way. I’m just so used to coaches wound up on the field, always yelling. It’s about time the coach gets comfortable.
Now, somebody who’s got this R&R thing down pat is Chargers guard Kris Dielman. He was seen enjoying a cigar on the beach bar’s deck. A Cuban perhaps? We’re close, and they are the best, after all.
I just ran into Patrick Willis, too, in the hotel lounge. He was coming back from relaxing poolside and said he’s ready for a nap. C’mon, dude? A nap? Well, he’s got a good excuse. He said he’s resting up for a party that Warren Moon is throwing tonight. Don’t know what kind, but I bet it’ll be good times.
