Peterson and Rodgers could use a break

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Adrian Peterson can’t escape the fumbles. And Aaron Rodgers can’t escape the shadow of Brett Favre, even in his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

When the NFC bus returned for practice, both Peterson and Rodgers were surrounded by a swarm of reporters. Frank Gore was on his phone just 10 feet away from Peterson’s grill-session about his fumble problem in the NFC title game, probably quite happy to not deal with that much media. Tony Romo, meanwhile, managed to squeak by the Rodgers interviews without being noticed.

What?!? Rodgers is in more demand than the guy who dated Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood and made regular appearances in the tabloids? The shadow of Favre is that strong, I guess.
