FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The players have all made their way to the lobby and are boarding the bus, ready to get the NFL Play 60 Community Blitz under way.
It’s the largest community service project in the league’s history, with players and Bank of America employees heading to sites in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties to educate kids on staying healthy through physical activity. Commissioner Roger Goodell will also be on hand.
I just gave Texans DE Mario Williams a video camera to record the happenings out there, and my NFL.com colleague, Frank Tadych, will be there also, so we should have some good coverage from a great event for the South Florida community.
