FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Brian Dawkins is back for his eighth Pro Bowl in 2010. The only change is he’s changed sides.
After seven Pro Bowls with the Eagles, Dawkins is representing the Broncos for the first time.
Following the AFC’s practice Wednesday, Dawkins sat down with NFL Network host Rich Eisen and analysts Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin to talk about changing teams, how he describes himself as a teammate and player, and playing for Josh McDaniels.
“To be able to do that — to go to another conference — and gain the respect of the coaches and the players and the fans, even, to be representing as a starter back over here … it’s a blessing,” Dawkins said. “It really is.”
