Jets coach Rex Ryan chatted with NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi upon arrival at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday and said his team will bring the defensive “combo platter” in the AFC Championship Game.
Ryan wants his team to mix up its coverages and blitzes. Ryan also expects to see the Colts use a lot of three-receiver formations, which might be why the Jets will start Dwight Lowery at cornerback and push Lito Sheppard into nickel or dime packages.
