The Colts’ second possession in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game quickly turned into the Pierre Garcon Show.
The second-year pro caught three passes, including a 27-yarder and a 36-yarder on back-to-back plays, on the drive that ended with Matt Stover‘s 25-yard field goal that gave the Colts a 3-0 lead over the Jets. Garcon’s third reception was a 7-yarder that put Stover in position for the kick.
Jets CB Donald Strickland was injured on Garcon’s 27-yard catch and went to the sideline. The Jets didn’t immediately provide an update on Strickland’s condition.
Garcon’s second reception came against Jets CB Lito Sheppard, who was benched in favor of Dwight Lowery.
