Rhodes added to Jets’ injury report

Jets DT Shaun Ellis returned to practice Thursday, taking part in a limited portion of the session, according to the team’s status report.

Ellis (hand/knee) sat out Wednesday due to a broken left hand, but is fully expected to play against the Colts. Jets LB Bart Scott (ankle) and LB David Harris (ankle) were both limited for the second straight day, while FS Kerry Rhodes (knee) was added to the injury report, listed as being limited.

RB Thomas Jones (rest) and FB Tony Richardson returned to practice Thursday after they were given a day off for rest, keeping with their regular schedule. QB Mark Sanchez (knee), WR Danny Woodhead (knee) and CB Donald Strickland (hand) were full participants.

The Colts listed 18 players on their injury report, with CB Jerraud Powers (foot) the only player sitting out the full session.
