The Cowboys announced CB Terence Newman was added to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster on Wednesday, replacing injured Cardinals CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
With the addition of Newman, the Cowboys will have seven players heading to Miami next week. It will be the second Pro Bowl for Newman, who had three interceptions this season and recorded a career-high 21 pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
Rodgers-Cromartie was forced out of last week’s divisional loss to New Orleans after he injured his medial collateral ligament and chipped his tibia of his left leg, according to the team’s official site. Officially, the extent of the injury is still unknown, but it’s bad enough to keep him from playing in his first Pro Bowl.
