For the past two days, we’ve known that Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin would be a game-time decision in Saturday’s divisional-round matchup against the Saints. The reality of the situation, though, might not be in Boldin’s favor.
Officially, Boldin was listed as questionable when the Cardinals submitted their final injury report of the week. But NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora said on NFL GameDay Morning Saturday he considers Boldin “very doubtful.”
Boldin has been nursing a left ankle injury and a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee sustained in the regular-season finale.
The Cardinals are clearly holding out hope. Either way, we should know Boldin’s fate when the official inactives are released about 90 minutes before kickoff, or around 3 p.m. ET.
