Signs pointing to Reese as Seahawks’ GM

There continue to be indications that Floyd Reese, the most experienced of the finalists for the general manager job in Seattle, is the favorite to land the position.
Reese already has had contact with Seahawks owner Paul Allen, according to a source. Reese has worked with new coach Pete Carroll in the past and has deep roots with him. The other candidates believe Reese will get the job.
The Seahawks have completed the interview process, of which Carroll was a key part. The other finalists — Omar Khan, Marc Ross and John Schneider — are younger and haven’t previously served as GMs. Several had impressive interviews, according to sources, but there is a sense among that group that it very well will be Reese’s job.
